Having a concealed carry permit (CCW) isn't enough to ensure your safety. The mindset of concealed carry, the legal use of force, avoiding conflict, heightening your situational awareness, and how to secure and defend your home are all crucial parts of ensuring you're safe at any given time. These are all concepts that will be covered in this course.

Did you know that there are a host of other important points to consider when a concealed carrier goes out in public? For example, one hundred percent self-defense is not always the best course of action. While it's admirable to be prepared to defend oneself, it's important to be aware of your surroundings and take time to assess the situation carefully before acting.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

You will receive your Concealed Carry Certificate upon completion.

If you have a firearm you can bring it with you to class. NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN CLASS. We recommend you bring snap caps if you have them.
